Dr. Amit Abraham is the Founder and President of Samvaidna: The Mental Health Welfare Organization. He is working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Postgraduate Department of Psychology at St. John’s College, Agra. He is actively involved in various offbeat research works related to the human psyche and is also supervising various research works. His Ph.D. is in the area of personality as determined and influenced by the Zodiac signs of individuals. Dr Abraham did his schooling from St. Joseph’s College, Nainital, and post-graduation in psychology from Delhi University. He has been the Coordinator of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, New Delhi (under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India) for three consecutive terms (2005–2008).  He is also the Recipient of the 'U.P. Shikshak Samman' for the year 2006 awarded by Bright Organization for Youth, Agra.
His Work
Dr Abraham has done extensive work on human sexuality and sexual attitudes. He has developed scales for the measurement of attitudes towards premarital sex, polygamy, pornography, lesbianism, and homosexuality as well as for the measurement of values and vocational interest. He has published various research papers and articles in diverse areas in magazines and newspapers and has also authored various books, which include textbooks, books for competitive examinations, books on general interest and self-help books. He is also associated with the local print and electronic media as a consultant psychologist.
Dr. Abraham through this organization is providing free guidance, counseling, and therapy for various psychological problems. He is also actively involved in offering psychological guidance and counseling through newspaper and magazine columns and also via the Internet.

Dr. Vibha Sharma is a very eminent clinical psychology and a founder member of Samvaidna. She has done her M.Phil. in clinical psychology from CIP Rachi and her doctorate is in the area of clinical psychology. She is registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).  She has a lot of published research work and great amount of experience in diagnostic and various therapeutic techniques. She is presently working as faculty at IBHAS, Delhi.
Being a founder member of Samvaidna she offers her free consultancy for the organization as and when needed.

Dr. Shweta Rai is a founder member of Samvaidna. She has a doctorate degree and an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology. She is registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Presently she is working as an Assistant Professor in MCOAHS, Manipal University, Karnataka and teaching M.Phil. students, doing psychological intervention and psychological assessment for patients with psychopathology. She also gives intervention to people, who may not have psychiatric illness but come with distress, conflicts interpersonal issues etc. She has done various researches.
Being a founder member of Samvaidna she offers her free consultancy for the organization as and when needed.

Ms. Shaista Khan is a clinical psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). She has a lot of work experience in the area of rehabilitation, psychotherapy and counseling of people including children with Psychological disorders. She is also well versed with legal aspects of children with disabilities. Presently she is working in Delhi with The National Commission For Protection of Child Rights, Ministry of Woman And Child Development, Government of India, on issues related to violation of child rights.

Romina Shireen Pitamber is based in Gurgaon. She is a trained special educator, with masters in human development, a diploma in psychological counseling, professional post graduate diploma in special education (multiple disabilities) from Delhi University and a B.Ed in education. She has a vast experience of 19 years in dealing with students and adults with Special Needs.  She has been involved in:
•  Guiding and coordinating Functional Education Plans for people with Special   needs,
• Planning, Managing and Implementing Individual Education Plans for children with physical and mental challenges.
• Conducting and managing developmental activities for special children. These include dramatics, art exhibitions, declamation, recitation and sports.
•  Case work and supportive parental   counseling   and   motivation.
•  Developing special teaching aids, resource material and Curriculums.
•  Planning and teaching Psychology to secondary and senior secondary students   with learning disabilities, appearing through National open School.
•   Training and Sensitizing Staff.
•   Adolescent counseling.
•  Performing Academic Assessments of students expected of Learning Disability for clinical referrals.

•  Designing remedial classes.

She provides skill building and remedial classes, counseling, academic assessments, trains staff for classroom management, behavioral issues, identifying students with dyslexia and managing them within the class.
